His primary focus is highlighting the living practice of arts, culture and foodways throughout Haudenosaunee territories by centering the voices of those within the communities who do this vital work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Abrams earned his bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University\u2019s S.I. Lombard previously reported for the Indian Leader at Haskell Indian Nations University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While in college, Lombard was the master control operator for Cable 8 Productions, camera operator for Coug Vision, <\/span>production assistant 6 News Lawrence, <\/span>and a showrunner for a day for ESPN. She won best documentary by the American Indian Higher Education Consortium in 2017.
